Welcome to the U.S. Visa Service Web Site This service provides you with information regarding Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Visas, detailed application procedures and an efficient way to schedule your Nonimmigrant Visa appointment and is the official visa information service of the U.S. Government in Canada. |
ATTENTION:
Effective, Friday, April 13, 2012, there will be changes in the Visa Application Fee (MRV fee). Please note: Any fees paid prior to Friday, April 13, 2012 remain valid for one year from the date of payment. There will be a 90 day grace period after which the difference between the old rate and the new rate must be paid at the Consular Section cashier. No refunds will be available to applicants who paid the higher fee. Click here for information on the new fees.
Did you know that you could have your passport and visa delivered at the comfort of your home or office? Click here to learn how to have your documents delivered to an address within Canada.
Attention applicants trying to schedule an appointment in the U.S. Consulate in Quebec City.
Temporary recommendation: Please select Consulate General Montreal as the post for your interview because the Consulate in Quebec City does not have available appointments at this time.
Most Canadian citizens can travel to the United States using only a valid passport and do not require a visa. Before proceeding, please read Do I Need to Apply? to be certain that you need to pay the application fee and apply for a visa.
Please note the following:
The first question on the DS-160 form asks where you will submit your application. Make sure that the city you pick is where you plan to schedule your visa interview. If the two cities do not match, you may experience delays on the day of your interview and you may have to complete a new DS-160 form.
