Appointment System For Non-Emergency Services
The American Citizen Services Unit (ACS) provides services on an appointment basis for non-emergency services, including passport, registration of birth and notary service. Appointments must be scheduled on-line through the U.S. Embassy website http://chile.usembassy.gov – Citizen Services. U.S. citizen may direct inquiries to SantiagoAmcit@state.gov.
Walk-In Service For Federal Benefits Inquiries
The Federal Benefits Unit is open for general inquiries and Social Security Card applications on a walk-in basis on Thursday mornings only from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. To file an application for benefits contact the Federal Benefits Unit at SantiagoFBU@state.gov.
