You can call the service on Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
You must purchase a PIN (Personal Identification Number) to access the Live Service. There are two methods for purchasing this PIN:
Nonimmigrant applicants have two options of telephone PINs to choose from.
- Five minutes of Call Center access, which costs the equivalent of USD$5.25 in Dominican Pesos.
- 15 minutes of Call Center access, which costs the equivalent of USD$16.00 in Domincan Pesos.
Normally, applicants wishing to schedule an appointment will buy the 15-minute option.
The duration of the minutes begin to count once the caller is connected to an operator.
There are two methods for purchasing a PIN:
- Credit Card Payment:
This PIN is USD$7 and is payable by Visa or MasterCard. You may purchase the PIN when you call the Live Service number and select the credit card payment option. You will be prompted to enter your credit card number. The system will generate your PIN and give it to you. You will be able to access the service immediately after you purchase the PIN. This PIN can only be used once. - Cash Payment:
You may purchase a PIN at any Banco Popular branch. You will be able to call the service the next business day after you purchase the PIN.
