Request for Expedited Non-Immigrant Visa Appointment
Most applicants requesting an expedited appointment, must have scheduled appointments through this Web site. You may also request an Expedited Appointment if you have received a letter indicating that you are Referral B. If you still have not scheduled a Consular Section appointment, click Log In before continuing.
Only the following trip purposes will be considered for expedited appointments:
- Medical (life/death) emergency
- Study, Work, or Business Matters
- Lost/Stolen Passport for Visa Waiver Applicants (not resident of Peru)
- Applicants who have received Referral B letters
If the applicant meets the criteria above please follow the steps below:
Please call the Call Center and be prepared to provide the following information:
- Full name of the applicant requesting the emergency appointment
- Date of the previously scheduled appointment
- A description of the emergency travel
If the applicant's request for an expedited appointment is accepted, the applicant will receive a new confirmation e-mail with a new date and time to appear at the Consular Section. If the request is not approved, the applicant should attend the original appointment.
Referral B Applicants will also receive a confirmation email with the date and time to appear at the Consular Section.
Please be advised that the granting of an expedited appointment in no way guarantees visa issuance. U.S. law places the burden of qualifying for any visa solely on the applicant.
