Children under 14 and seniors over 80 are not required to appear in person at the Consular Section to apply for a U.S. visa. An appointment must be scheduled in the applicant’s name through this service.
- A parent may present the child’s application and documents.
- An immediate family member may present the documentation for an applicant the age of 80 or older.
All other applicants MUST appear in person.
